1. About this policy
OrangeDays (“OrangeDays”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides hands-on AI training, webinars and community learning activities for QA professionals. This Privacy Policy applies to orangedays.in and the forms, programmes and services made available through it.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact information such as your name, email address and phone number.
- Professional information such as your role and, when you choose to provide it, your company.
- Registration and participation details for training, webinars, events and community activities.
- Files and information you submit, including PDF solution documents and the content contained in them.
- Communications you send to us and records needed to respond to them.
- Basic technical and usage information made available by our hosting, security or analytics services, such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- process registrations and submissions;
- deliver training, webinars, events and related communications;
- review, evaluate and administer community activities or recognition programmes;
- contact participants about their submissions, results, schedules or support requests;
- feature selected work when the participant has agreed to the applicable submission terms;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and services; and
- comply with applicable law and protect our users, services and legal rights.
4. Google API and Google Drive data
OrangeDays uses a server-side Google Drive integration authorised by an OrangeDays administrator to place and manage participant-submitted PDFs in designated OrangeDays storage. Participants are not required to connect their own Google accounts for this upload.
Although Google’s permission screen may describe Drive access broadly, OrangeDays uses the authorised access only to support this file-storage workflow. We do not use it to examine unrelated personal files, serve advertising, build advertising profiles, or train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.
OrangeDays’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information:
- to service providers that help us host the website, deliver email, store files, process forms, maintain security or provide analytics;
- to trainers, reviewers or authorised OrangeDays personnel who need it to operate the relevant programme;
- when you instruct or authorise us to publish or feature your name, professional details or submitted work;
- when required by law, legal process or a competent authority; or
- to prevent fraud, misuse, security threats or harm and to enforce our terms.
Our providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Google Drive is used as a storage provider for designated submissions.
6. Public recognition and submitted work
If an activity includes recognition or publication, selected submissions may be featured on OrangeDays channels or LinkedIn as described in the applicable activity rules and consent presented during submission. We will not publish your phone number or use it as part of the public feature.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including programme administration, communications, record-keeping, security and legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by record type. You may request deletion of your personal information or submission by contacting us. We may retain limited information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please do not include passwords, confidential employer information, production credentials, private customer data or other unnecessary sensitive information in a submission.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to provide information about the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, withdraw consent, object to certain processing or delete information. You may also opt out of non-essential promotional email using the unsubscribe method provided or by contacting us.
10. Children’s privacy
OrangeDays services are intended for adult professionals and are not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorisation, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. External links
Our website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and OrangeDays is not responsible for those external practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek renewed consent.
